We will be completely renovating a 1970s ranch in Milton, MA. The project will include an addition on the back of the house for a great room and a mudroom/laundry.

The renovation is well under way. After completely gutting the interior and stripping the exterior, the addition on the back of the house is now framed and the new windows are installed. The reshaped roofline integrates the addition into the existing structure yet preserves the rambler typology from the street.

Second visit to the site this week and the siding is going up. The T&G cedar on the eaves will be kept natural. The clapboard siding will be painted.
